
Primary Responsibilities
Championships Administration
Coordinate the planning, administration, and onsite management of SAC championships.
Coordinate championship sites and dates through the Conference governance structure.
Oversee the annual updating and production of Championship Handbooks and Sport Policy Manuals.
Assist with championship budget preparation, reconciliation, and financial oversight.
Oversee Conference awards programs, including ordering and inventory for all sports.
Manage ticket sales and oversee student-athlete and fan experience at applicable championship events.
Coaches’ Committees Administration
Administer all Coaches’ Committee meetings for the following sports, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, recording minutes, and assisting committee chairs:
Men’s and Women’s Cross Country
Men’s and Women’s Soccer
Field Hockey
Men’s and Women’s Basketball (co-primary)
Men’s and Women’s Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field
Men’s and Women’s Golf
SAC Governance & Officials Liaison
Serve as liaison to Conference committees, including:
Championships and Awards (primary)
Branding and Marketing (secondary)
Competition and Scheduling (secondary)
Serve as primary liaison to the Coordinator of Officials for assigned sports.
Manage disciplinary actions involving student-athletes, coaches, and officials when applicable.
External Operations
Lead and implement external relations initiatives aligned with the Conference’s mission and strategic goals.
Assist with branding, marketing, and promotion of the Conference and its member institutions.
Collaborate with Conference staff on strategic initiatives related to the SAC’s media rights partnership with FloSports.
Secondary Responsibilities
Assist with championship apparel and licensing agreements.
Represent the Conference at campus and championship events throughout the academic year.
Serve on NCAA Regional Advisory Committees and National Committees as assigned.
Manage special projects and ad hoc committees as directed by the Commissioner.
Perform other duties as assigned to meet Conference needs.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of three years of experience in college athletics event management and/or marketing (five years preferred).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google, and Zoom.
Familiarity with social media platforms such as Instagram and X.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to travel and work nights and weekends.
