Job Summary |
The Academic Advisor for Student Athletes will serve as a central resource for all student-athletes at Rensselaer, regardless of major or school. The Advisor will advise and counsel Rensselaer student-athletes on academic course requirements, course selection, and prerequisite courses to meet eligibility requirements and optimize success for competition in the NCAA. The advisor will serve as a resource for the Faculty Athletic Representative and the Advising and Learning Assistance Center (ALAC) and will monitor student-athletes on probation. The athletic advisor will set up tutoring sessions within ECAV open to all students and study halls for student-athletes in partnership with the athletic coaching staff. |

Starting Salary/Rate |
Expected hiring rate: $60,706 per year Pay transparency disclosure: The selected candidate’s salary will be determined based on factors that include the available budget, internal equity, and the final candidate’s qualifications, experience, education and other job-related credentials.
