Head Women's Basketball Coach

Expectations not limited to:

• Direct all operations for Ouachita’s NCAA Division II women’s basketball program. Develop, implement, and maintain team policies and procedures that go along with athletic department guidelines.

• Under NCAA rules and regulations and in concert with the Ouachita admissions department, establish and maintain recruiting operations to attract high-quality student-athletes.

• Foster a challenging atmosphere promoting academic and athletic success to allow for maximum personal development.

• Adhere to and enforce all policies and procedures of the department and the university, as well as the rules and regulations of the NCAA, the Great American Conference, and any other authorities that govern the intercollegiate athletics program.

• Develop, engage, and maintain relationships with alumni and friends of the program.
  

Requirements

• Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education and at least five years of related experience.

• Working knowledge and understanding of NCAA rules. Must pass mandated NCAA coaches training and rules test.

• Excellent communication and computer skills.
