
Old Dominion University, NCAA Division I institution, and affiliate member of the American Athletic Conference (AAC), is accepting applications for the position of Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach.
The Head Coach is responsible for managing the women’s lacrosse program and overseeing all aspects of an NCAA Division I program including coaching, supervising assistant coaches, managing budgets, providing direction for the recruitment of qualified student-athletes, and promoting the University and program by maintaining a high profile with the constituencies important to fundraising and public relations.
Required qualifications: Master’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree with experience equivalent to an advanced degree. Comprehensive experience in the following areas: demonstrated coaching and player development, directing the recruiting process within the framework of the NCAA rules, managing scholarship and operations budget, and supervising staff. Effective organizational, communication, and independent decision-making skills are essential. Considerable experience coaching lacrosse and playing experience at the NCAA Division I level required. Experience with monitoring high academic performance and retention of student-athletes required.
