Director of Ticketing

Responsibilities include but are not limited to all ticketing facets of two sports/programs, including potential travel to road games, preseason and post-season play, Big 12 championships, NCAA Championship events and other responsibilities directed by Assistant AD Ticketing or other leadership. Additional sport and program management duties as designated. Under supervision of Assistant AD Ticketing and in collaboration with Sales, POSSE (annual giving), Marketing, and Analytics, lead development of ticket pricing, packaging, and key dates such as renewals, on-sales, seat selections, etc. This position will also assist with inbound sales & service during periods of high call or in-person volume. 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field. (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)

  • 3 years of supervisory, customer service, public relations and/or computer experience.

  • Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge: Management, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. Customer service skills-communications, problem solving, flexibility, strong phone skills. Ability to interpret, understand, implement, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of NCAA and Big 12 Conference rules and regulations preferred. Proficiency with computer operations required. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to stand on feet up to 3 hours.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field

  • Knowledge of Paciolan software; Experience in Athletic Ticketing. Knowledge of NCAA and Big 12 Conference rules and regulations
