The Head Coach responsibilities include but are not limited to leading a competitive NCAA Division II softball program, including the day to day operations of the program, practice and season planning, the recruitment of qualified student-athletes, academic success of student athletes, game preparation and strategy, player development, game scheduling, travel coordination, budget management, equipment purchasing, organizing camps and clinics in support of the Softball program, adherence to NSIC and NCAA rules and regulations, fundraising and general administrative duties.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required (Master's preferred).
Previous coaching experience at the collegiate level preferred.
Strong knowledge of softball rules, techniques, and strategies.
Playing experience at the collegiate level preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues,
student-athletes, and administrators.
Commitment to the academic and personal development of student-athletes.
Willingness to travel and work evenings and weekends as required.
