Mount St. Mary’s University invites applications for the Coordinator of Creative Services/Social Media for Athletics position. Mount St. Mary’s is a Division I program in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. This position will report to the Associate Director of Athletics for Communications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Handle creative services for the athletic department. This includes creating graphics for social media, video for social media (reels, etc.), producing hype videos, and general graphic needs for the department.
Responsible for social media game day graphics, win graphics, etc., for the Mount athletic teams. Work with each team on their individual social media accounts as well.
Provide content for the in-house television screens around campus, and also for the video board for men’s basketball games.
Responsible for the management of photography for the department, including maintaining the Athletic Department’s Flickr page.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements: Education, Experience and Skills:
Minimum Qualifications:
The appointed individual will:
Have a Bachelor’s degree
Possess experience with all forms of social media (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram).
Possess experience in video editing using Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro preferred.
Be willing to work long hours/nights/weekends.
Be able to communicate with coaches, media and staff.
Have experience with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Lightroom, Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
