Position Function:
Manage all aspects of Talent Management Services for the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics, including facilitation of revenue and budgeting strategy for talent acquisition and management, cap management, name image and likeness (NIL) activities, contracting, brand development, cap management, and related compliance functions.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Serve on Athletic Director’s Executive Cabinet.
2. Oversee and facilitate all talent acquisition and management services and activities.
3. Develop and implement a departmental-wide strategic plan for Talent Management services, including revenue sharing, NIL opportunity facilitations, and financial aid allocations.
4. Assist Chief Financial Officer with budget and revenue planning and projections related to Talent Management.
5. Develop and implement sport accountability metrics for revenue sharing.
6. Oversee player negotiations, activations, and contract management.
7. Coordinate with Chief Financial Officer revenue sharing cap management, payment processing, and risk management activities related to Talent Management.
8. Provide guidance on NIL strategy and collaboration with MMR partner to identify opportunities, parameters, and procedures for maximizing NIL opportunities.
9. Serve as liaison for all external partners and vendors impacting Talent Management Services.
10. Coordinate consistent meetings of stakeholders, including Athletics administration, compliance, development, external operations, communications, marketing, athlete services, and compliance.
11. Provide guidance to Athlete Services and External Engagement teams on effective marketing and communication strategies related to Talent Management Services
12. Coordinate with Office of General Counsel to implement contract development and management for Talent Management.
13. Work with Athlete Services to develop effective programs for student-athlete brands, education, and other support services.
14. Coordinate with Athletics Compliance Office to ensure necessary policies, procedures, and practices are in place for necessary disclosures and relate compliance functions.
15. Stay up to date on latest collegiate athletics trends and best practices impacting talent management and adapt to changes as necessary.
16. Perform related duties as assigned by Director of Athletics.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in stakeholder and student-athlete engagement
Experience: Five (5) years
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree
