Job Summary/Basic Function: The Head Coach Women's Volleyball will direct, organize, administer, and manage all aspects of the University's Division I Women's Volleyball program. Duties will include but are not limited to: maintain the overall program, day to day coaching, individual skill instruction, recruiting quality NCAA Division I eligible athletes, developing a culture of NCAA Division I compliance among staff and student athletes, scheduling competitive NCAA Division I competition, budgeting assigned funds, scouting and film exchange of opponents, oversight of all recruiting and team travel arrangements and monitoring student athlete academic success. Other duties include: serve as a positive role model for the student athletes, enhance the image of the university and its women's volleyball program, counsel and advise student athletes per protocol, work to enhance fund raising efforts, promote positive community relations while serving in our community, promote and attend alumni and university functions, and overall supervision of student athletes and staff. Teach part time in HHP department and perform related tasks and special projects as assigned by the Director of Athletics or his designee.
Required Education: Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred.
Required Related Experience: Two (2) years of competitive high school, collegiate or professional coaching experience required.
Desirable Related Experience: Five years of collegiate coaching experience.
