Job Details:

Mercer Athletics is searching for an Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing on the Macon campus.

Responsibilities:
The Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing plans, creates, and executes all promotion elements of athletic events, including but not limited to: in-game promotions, script writing, event producing, and supervising multi-media content for marketing purposes, including video and graphics for use on athletic video boards, website, social media, and/or television; creates and develops a comprehensive marketing plan to maximize ticket revenue and spectator attendance; communicate with Mercer sponsorship team to ensure execution and fulfillment of partner contracts; work with campus groups and student body to drive attendance and enhance game-day atmosphere. This position determines appropriate budget expenditures and allocations relative to implementing marketing plans and fulfilling sponsorship obligations. It also works with campus and student groups to promote events and involvements. The successful candidate will play an integral role in developing, coordinating and executing a comprehensive strategic plan for Mercer University Athletics to increase ticket sales, drive attendance and create a memorable and exciting fan experience while fostering innovative and collaborative efforts to engage students, staff, alumni, sponsor, donors and prospective fans of Mercer Athletics.

Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in Advertising, Business, Management, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field and a minimum of three years of experience in marketing, promotions, sales, or ticket sales in a collegiate, professional, or minor league organization. Candidates should be able to use Adobe Creative Suite and have working knowledge of Daktronics Video Boards.
