Madonna University is accepting applications for the position of Graduate Assistant – Women’s Soccer. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Head Women’s Soccer Coach with all aspects of the Women’s Varsity and Developmental soccer programs at the NAIA Level.
Minimum Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree is required. Acceptance in to the Madonna University Graduate School is required.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience as a student athlete at the collegiate level. Soccer Coaching experience withing organized soccer (collegiate, club, high school, etc.). A basic understanding of NAIA rules and regulations (on the job training in this area is available).
Responsibilities: Supervise activities related to the student athletes; provide professional mentoring to student-athletes; recruiting within compliance of all NAIA rules; plan, organize, conduct, and evaluate practices sessions; develop, implement, and evaluate game plans and strategies; monitor academic progress and eligibility.
Other: 12-month contract renewable for 2nd year of graduate school. Stipend (based on $12.00/hour and 15-20 hours per week). Includes coverage of tuition (up to 18 credit hours per academic year) for Master’s Degree.
