Assistant Athletics Director for Equipment & Operation

Louisiana Tech University is seeking candidates for the full-time, 12-month position of Assistant Athletics Director for Equipment & Operations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Master’s degree preferred
• Two years equipment management experience 
• A strong working knowledge of athletics equipment
• Good organization, leadership, and communication skills are expected 
• Certification by the athletics equipment managers association (AEMA) is desired 
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as necessary

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for purchasing, distributing, collecting, repairing, storage and maintenance of all football related equipment
• Lead the 10+ student equipment staff members
• Act as liaison to equipment/apparel distributors
• Assist with the management and operations of certain athletics facilities
• Assist other sports as necessary with apparel
• Other duties as assigned by Athletics Leadership
