Job Summary

Assists the Assistant/Associate Athletics Director – Operations with all sporting event activities and operations of the athletics department venues. Works with the LU athletics director, administration, staff, students, and the community to enhance the athletics facilities.

Essential Job Functions

Facility Operations & Maintenance:

  • Coordinate maintenance of all athletic venues, including regular reporting on the condition of athletic facilities and equipment for capital planning and management purposes.

  • Coordinate maintenance of all athletic venues, including regular reporting on the condition of athletic facilities and equipment for capital planning and management purposes.

Event Management:

  • For assigned sports, schedule and supervise all event staff for home athletic contests and assist with other events held at athletic venues.

  • Plan and manage logistics for all home athletic contests for assigned sports, including security, parking, hosting officials, facility supervision, and coordination of student workers.

  • Update visiting team guides and coordinate their distribution to visiting teams.

Student Staff Supervision:

  • Supervise 10–20 student workers supporting athletic operations, ensuring effective performance, scheduling, and training

  • Minimum and Desired Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree.

    Required Qualifications:

    • 1-3 years of related experience.

    • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite required

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite required.
