Graduate Practicum Student - Women's Flag Football

Illinois Wesleyan University, a NCAA Division III institution, invites applications for the position of Women’s Flag Football Graduate Practicum Student. This 10-month position includes a full or partial tuition waiver and stipend of $15,000 for the year. Responsibilities include but are not limited to;  coaching specific segment as designated by head coach, recruiting, game planning, strength and conditioning, program management, and game management. Coaching position will start August 1, 2026 with classes also starting in August for the graduate degree program. Successful candidates will adhere to all rules of the CCIW, NCAA, IWU, and will fulfill the requirements and expectations of the Illinois State University graduate program. Candidates must be accepted and enroll in one of the following graduate degree sequences;  Psychology of Sport, Exercise Physiology, Recreation Administration or Sport Management.  Please email cover letter, resume, and reference list to: Mike Wagner, AD, mwagner@iwu.edu. The individual should have playing or coaching experience at the collegiate level and must have or be willing to obtain a strength and conditioning certification. Candidates must meet the requirement for admission into the Illinois State Graduate School (3.0 in last 60 hours and qualifying GRE score).
