
Frostburg State University Athletics Department is accepting applications for (2) Graduate Assistants in the Athletic Communications Department. The positions will be a broadcast position with assistance of sports information as needed. Please review the description of the position’s duties below prior to applying. FSU boasts 25 varsity sports (11 men/14 women) at the NCAA Division II level that compete in the Mountain East Conference and the East Coast Conference.
BROADCAST POSITION
Responsibilities:
· In-game play-by-play
· Primary contact with radio station
· Road coverage for select sports
· Production of game notes
· Pregame and postgame interviews
· Public address
· Maintaining FSU Athletics website
· Assist with social media accounts
· Writing press releases, game programs and development of media guides
· Video and audio editing
· Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree required and 3.0 GPA to be admissible to desired graduate program if offered position. This position is granted 12 credit hours tuition waiver per term and 30 credit hours per 12-month cycle. A $4,500.00 stipend is paid per semester.
