Department of Athletics - Administration
Responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight of all financial modeling and analytics in Athletics. Provides visionary leadership to Athletic Department business operations. Will manage the department’s core business and revenue generating functions, including strategic financial planning, business operations, multimedia rights, corporate relations, business innovation, contracts, trend analysis and data analytics. Ensures compliance with University Policy, Florida BOG Regulations, state and federal law, bond covenants, and donor intent.
Critical role in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting sports-related data to provide forecasting and decision-making for the Department. Lead athletics in management of revenue sharing model and NIL initiatives. Support department initiatives as it pertains to NIL activities. Serve as chief liaison to Athletics collective(s).
Develop collaborative relationships with department partners and external stakeholders to develop and execute revenue strategies for Florida State Athletics. Provides leadership and direction to the day-to-day operation of revenue generation and external operating units. Ensures that goals and initiatives fully align with department goals and mission.
Lead the department in new revenue generation strategy to monetize Athletics facilities by securing external events and usage.
Negotiates, and manages contracts related to but not limited to media, website, communications, ticket operations, sponsorship, and other outside agreements pertaining to athletics. Partners with media and sponsorship companies on contractual agreements.
Serve as administrative sport oversight to assigned sport(s). Member of VP/AD’s executive team and department leadership team.
Master's degree and five years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree and seven years of experience. (Note: Post-high school education and/or experience may substitute at the comparable rate.)

Preferred:
Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
Experience providing direction for planning, education, budgetary functions, programming, and reporting/compliance for multiple areas/departments.
Experience in developing, implementing, and interpreting University, state, and federal policies and procedures.
Experience working with the media and sponsorship companies on contractual agreements.
