Assistant Women's Wrestling Coach

We are seeking qualified candidates for a women’s wrestling assistant coaching position. This time intensive position involves assisting the head coach in
recruiting, scouting, practice and competition planning/management, conducting
individual workouts, academic supervising as well as any other tasks pertinent to the success of the Elmira College Athletic Department.

RESPONSIBILITIES: •Serves as recruiter for the sport of wrestling, identifying and evaluating potential students. •Assists with organization of all aspects of the program, including coaching and management of facility, practice and team operations. •Helps execute team fundraising efforts, including participation in camps and clinics. •Handles uniform and equipment maintenance and inventory. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: •Bachelor’s degree. •Knowledge of intercollegiate athletics, rules and regulations of athletic associations and conferences. •Successful candidates should display passion for player development, strong interpersonal skills, and a demonstrated commitment to the mission of Elmira College Wrestling.

Qualified applicants will have the availability to work evenings and weekends, possess a valid driver’s license for transportation of team in vans or bus and have the ability to travel for team practices, competition and recruiting.
