Position Summary
Under general supervision, the Coordinator of Greyhound Broadcast Services is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the broadcast production for ENMU Athletics events. This includes determining proper equipment, camera locations, creating broadcast and videoboard graphics, ensuring the department meets and exceeds the minimum broadcast requirements of the Lone Star Conference’s broadcast agreement with Flosports, and enhancing the viewing experience of Greyhound Athletics sports fans. The Coordinator of Greyhound Broadcast Services will recruit, train, and evaluate personnel for part-time broadcasting staff members such as camera operators, graphics assistants and on-air play-by-play, color commentary and sideline announcers primarily from the ENMU student population and the Department of Communications in the College of Fine Arts. Additionally, the Coordinator of Greyhound Broadcast Services
will collaborate with other staff and departments to enhance the overall production quality of ENMU Athletics broadcasts and videoboard utilization.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinates live broadcasts, streaming and other types of production media of athletics contests, events, pre-game shows and weekly updates
Hire, train, and supervise student employees for assistance with streaming content, video productions and projects for special events in athletics
Collaborates with assistant athletic director for marketing and communications to execute use of digital media production for Greyhound Athletics, including video-based social media strategies
Develops and coordinates specialty graphics, video highlights, special interests, and feature productions for Greyhound Athletics and its programs for branding, recruiting and fundraising purposes
Produces athletic advertisements, video features and multimedia content for commercial and internal use
ENMU Athletics liaison on LSC/Flosports live-streaming initiatives and required production for Flosports
Assists with the operations related to athletics facility video boards as needed
Coordinates content with director of athletics and assistant athletic director for market and communications for a fully integrated approach to multimedia coverage for Greyhound Athletics
Creates or manages graphics and marketing materials as it relates to video production
Serve as a liaison to the University Communications Department
Serve as athletics department multimedia lead for special events (e.g. Greyhound Gala, Hall of Honor Induction Event, graduation)
Determine equipment and software needs to provide improved broadcast and video quality
Collaborate with faculty and staff of the Department of Communication and KENW Broadcast Center to enhance ENMU Athletics Flosports broadcasts and other broadcast content related to ENMU Athletics for the KENW Broadcast Center
Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree and one year of applicable experience
Familiarity with process and equipment to conduct live streaming of athletics events
Familiarity with NCAA Division II Athletics, the Lone Star Conference and Flosports
A valid New Mexico Driver’s License or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment is also required, as well as the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle in all kinds of weather and road conditions

Knowledge of Master Control equipment and techniques including related transmission/reception systems for cable, wireless cable, interactive television and distance education teleclassrooms
Project and budget management skills
Technical directing and scriptwriting skills

Knowledge of multiple computer platforms and software
Pre-planning production skills
Ability to perform routine equipment maintenance
Physical Demand and Working Conditions:
Mobility: Ability to move freely around athletic venues (stadiums, fields, courts), press boxes, and control rooms, including climbing stairs and carrying equipment over varying terrain
Lifting/Carrying: Must be able to lift, carry, and transport broadcast equipment (cameras, tripods, cables, monitors) weighing up to 50 pounds.
Standing/Sitting: Prolonged periods of standing during live broadcasts or events; ability to sit for extended periods while editing or monitoring feeds
Visual Acuity: Must have sufficient vision to operate cameras, edit video, monitor live feeds, and read scripts or digital content
Hearing: Adequate hearing to monitor audio quality and communicate effectively through headsets and intercom systems
Manual Dexterity: Ability to operate computers, video/audio switchers, cameras, and editing software with precision
Communication: Able to speak clearly and effectively in live or recorded settings, including during fast-paced or high-pressure sports events
Working Conditions: May require work in varying weather conditions for outdoor sports events; availability for nights, weekends, and extended hours during peak sports seasons. Will require frequent traveling. May have exposure to blood-borne pathogens
