Assistant Director of Donor Relations & Stewardship

Purpose

To advance Dartmouth’s athletics fundraising and engagement efforts by fostering a culture of donor-focused stewardship and relationship building. To work closely with Advancement field staff, coaches, athletic administrators, and other colleagues to develop and monitor the implementation of a systematic, yet tailored approach to stewardship and engagement activities for donors, with the goal of demonstrating impact and coordination.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4-5 years of experience in development, alumni relations, communications, stewardship, donor relations, and engagement, or the equivalent combination of education and experience

• Talent to manage multiple projects and priorities

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; demonstrated ability to work with others

• Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable working in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment

• Strong project management skills

• Ability to apply a high degree of tact and sensitivity to daily activities
