• Serve as primary championship administrator for selected sports as assigned. Maintain communication with host
institutions regarding all aspects of the championships.
• Oversee issues related to Conference regular season play in selected sports, if applicable.
• Serve as primary liaison to coaches’ groups in selected sports.
• Coordinate and develop regular season schedules for selected sports, if applicable.
• Serve as primary liaison to SAAC.
• Supervise coordinator of officials and all officiating matters in selected sports, if applicable.
• Manage championship and regular season awards and championship participant gift program for all sports.
• Manage banner inventory and distribution for championship events.
• Assist in the execution of other championship events as assigned.
• Develop and communicate regular season game management guidelines to sport administrators in selected sports, if
applicable.
• Assist with sportsmanship program. Develop, interpret and enforce policies.
• Produce information materials for meetings of assigned coaches’ groups and league governance groups.
• Assist in development of Conference budgets for championships in selected sports.
• Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree and experience in collegiate athletics or related field. Experience working with coaches’ groups and/or sport oversight experience. Seeking applicants with strong oral and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal and organizational skills. The applicant should also demonstrate leadership ability and computer proficiency.
