SUMMARY

 

Promote the brand of the conference and its member institutions through production of video and multimedia elements.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

               I.         Collaborate, develop, implement and execute strategies designed to optimize the exposure of the CAA across its digital platforms

              II.         Serve as the lead in creating unique and compelling video content, which aligns with CAA business initiatives, to be utilized on various platforms (CAASports.com, Facebook, You Tube, Twitter, Instagram, OTT platforms, etc.)

            III.         Help CAA social team create video and graphic content for social media during and after games

            IV.         Serve as the CAA’s primary liaison for video footage sharing, digital archiving and all video elements.  

             V.         Create and produce CAA video segments (previews, recaps, news and notes, interviews, etc.) and human-interest features on CAA teams and individual     student-athletes

            VI.         Capture and assemble video footage of CAA Championships and other special events to provide fans a unique and compelling experience via digital platforms

          VII.         Oversee inventory, maintenance/upkeep and updates of CAA video and audio equipment

         VIII.         Assist with oversight of CAA’s multimedia agreements (CBSSN, FloSports, LacrosseTV, etc.), relationships and content

            IX.         Foster strong relationships with CAA Member Institutions to create consistent Conference and School messaging

             X.         Travel to member institutions and special events to capture elements for current and future video pieces

            XI.         Fulfill multimedia requests from media and member institutions

          XII.         Serve as designer and contact for artwork pertaining, but not limited to tickets, merchandise, credentials and miscellaneous branding assets

         XIII.         Ability to work nights and weekends when required

        XIV.         Travel and provide video support at various conference championship and events.

          XV.         Ability to regularly lift 25 pounds.

        XVI.         Other duties may be assigned

 

SKILLS

 

                    I.            Must have excellent time management skills and experience working on multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to tight deadlines.

                  II.            Experience producing a wide range of video and graphic elements from concept to creation

                III.            Ensure multimedia assets adhere to branding, copyright, and broadcast standards

                IV.            Ability to operate and troubleshoot a ENG-type camera equipment, sound equipment, and studio lighting

                  V.            Experience in directing talent, coaches, and players during interviews and commercial shoots

                VI.            Must have extensive experience using the following programs Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, DropBox and Microsoft Office Suite

              VII.            Possess knowledge of the content delivery process with media entities and outside vendors

            VIII.            Possess the ability to effectively communicate, orally or in written form, with CAA               office colleagues, Member Institution personnel, and CAA partners and vendors
