SUMMARY
As part of the Digital Communications team, you will be assisting, developing, implementing and executing our content strategy for social media that includes but is not limited to graphics, written posts, and video content in varying lengths and formats which will be utilized to promote the Conference and its Member Institutions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
I. Produce content to engage and expand the Conference’s fans, student-athletes, coaches, recruits and families through all digital platforms
II. Serve as on-camera talent/host and produce digital content to support CAA Member Institutions and build the CAA brand.
III. Assist with the Conference’s social media strategy across its social media channels.
IV. Work to develop and to expand the Conference’s digital presence and engagement
V. Create content specifically tailored to designated digital media platforms to engage different fan demographics.
VI. Execute social media campaigns, including management, monitoring, content creation, promotion, and analytics
VII. Create high quality graphical messaging and creative content that is consistent and in line with the Conference’s brand identity.
VIII. Assist with creating other graphical branding elements needed by the conference (Ex. Banners, t-shirt designs, ticket designs, backdrops, etc.)
IX. Provide real-time coverage of Conference games and events. Be actively involved in the social media conversation while consistently engaging with fans and followers
X. Assist at various Conference events and provide fans a unique and compelling experience via digital platforms
XI. Assist with the digital archiving of Conference and Member Institution photos. Work with Communications staff to ensure correct labeling and organization of digital archives
XII. Develop strong relationships with Member Institutions to create consistent Conference and School messaging
XIII. Assist in fulfilling sponsorship agreements on social media platforms and CAA website (caasports.com)
XIV. Apply a strong understanding of visual design principles, techniques, and best practices.
XV. Ability to work nights and weekends when required as well as potential travel associated with Conference Championships.
XVI. Ability to regularly lift 25 pounds.
XVII. Other duties as assigned
SKILLS
I. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office to include Outlook, Word, Excel
II. Must be proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro)
III. Knowledge of web and graphic design.
IV. Ability to report in front of a camera and put together small video pieces
V. Possess the ability to communicate orally or in written form effectively with co-management, institutional personnel, and vendors
VI. Be familiar and proficient with social media platforms
PRINCIPLE CONTACTS
Daily: CAA Sport Administration staff; CAA Communications staff; CAA Video; CAA Broadcast.
Weekly: CAA Member Institutions; Student- Athletes; outside vendors.
Monthly: Other CAA staff members.

Demonstrate the ability to anticipate and solve practical problems or resolve issues.

This is a mid-level management position with a minimum of 2 years of experience required and the salary range of $43,900 to $45,000. This position has the option of remote work within the eastern time zone and will be required to travel to various championships and conference meetings.
