Assistant Director of Events and Services

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Championship Operations & Logistics

    • Serve as the primary operational lead for CACC Championship events across assigned sports.

    • Coordinate host sites, venue managers, equipment, and staffing to ensure standard event execution.

    • Oversee game-day setup, tournament logistics, and update championship manuals annually.

    • Manage all championship awards for participants and teams. Manage vendor relationships for trophy, plaque, and award ordering, inventory, and distribution.

    • Assist with social media for all conference championships both pre and post championship.

  • Sport Oversight

    • Serve as the administrative liaison for designated conference sports.

    • Facilitate sport committee meetings, manage sport-specific operating procedures, and coordinate rule interpretations and championship formats.

  • NCAA Grant Administration

    • Oversee administration, tracking, reporting, and compliance for NCAA Strategic Initiatives Grants, Division II Conference Enhancement Grants, and related funds.

    • Ensure all member institutions submit required documentation for grant reimbursements in a timely manner.

  • Financial Management

    • Manage operational budgets for assigned championships and programs.

    • Assist with processing invoices, expense reports, official fees, and maintaining financial reconciliations for conference accounts.

    • Assist with gathering and compiling data for CACC salary and other financial surveys.
