Position Overview
Manage the day-to-day operations of the Athletic Ticket Office, from technological, operational, and managerial standpoints. Coordinate and carry out ticket plans for events through TicketMaster Archtics. Part of the External Operations team that partners with numerous staff members to maximize experience for fans and revenue for the department.
Responsibilities
Coordinate production and distribution of season tickets and parking passes with the assigned printing company
Assist with neutral site, away game, and postseason ticketing for all sports where applicable
Research, develop, and test mathematical models for sales forecasting, pricing, and other planning and management applications
Responsible for game-by-game and weekly ticket sales reporting
Research and data mining to identify additional revenue opportunities
In addition to a normal weekly work schedule, special gameday duties may require weekend work and/or evening scheduling, plus travel for select events
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree required
Three (3) years of college athletics or professional sports ticket operations experience
Ability to work non-standard hours, including nights and weekends
Possess strong administrative or organizational skills to multi-task and solve problems efficiently
Supervisory experience preferred
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work in a diverse atmosphere
Proficient with Microsoft Office and general computer software
Commitment to the values and mission of Butler University
Proven ability to meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
Three (3) years of college athletics or professional sports ticketing analytics experience
Experience with TicketMaster Archtics
