
Reporting to the Director of Track & Field and Cross Country, this position provides valuable hands-on coaching and administrative experience by assisting with practice planning, recruiting, student-athlete development, academic monitoring, meet preparation, travel coordination, and day-to-day program operations. The Graduate Assistant may work with multiple event groups based on experience and the needs of the program.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree, be admitted to a graduate program at Brevard College, and demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Previous collegiate track & field experience is preferred, along with a commitment to mentoring student-athletes and embracing the NCAA Division III philosophy. Evening, weekend, and team travel are required.
