
The general purpose of this position is to design and implement strength training and conditioning programs for football student-athletes and teach and educate student-athletes.
Assist in the teaching and educating of student-athletes in physical strength and conditioning techniques
Assist in the design and implementation of strength training and conditioning programs for football program
Assist with workout design and implementation for additional Olympic sports assignments under the direct supervision of the Director of Strength and Conditioning
Assist the Head Football Strength and Conditioning Coach with all aspects of program administration.
Directly supervise and train interns/practicum students
Coordinate training facility cleaning and maintenance of equipment
Other duties as assigned
The following Degree is required:
Bachelor’s Degree required in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field.
The following Degree is preferred:
Master's Degree
The following Experience is required:
1 year of experience in a NCAA member strength & conditioning program working with athletes
The following licenses, certifications, or registrations is required:
Certified by the National Strength & Conditioning Association or Collegiate Strength & Conditioning Coaches Association

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must have the ability to work in the collegiate setting with collegiate athletes, coaches, and other athletic department staff
Applicant must exhibit ability to instruct, supervise, and demonstrate associated exercises in a weightlifting based training environment
Successful candidate must display competency to coordinate with the Asst. Director of Strength & Conditioning for Football and the Football Athletic Trainers regarding certain biomechanical assessments as well as implementation of the return to play protocols for athletes returning from injury
Excellent verbal communication skills
Very strong interpersonal skills
Ability to manage groups of wide varieties of people with broad backgrounds and experiences
