The Big 12 is searching for an industry-leading and highly driven professional to further manage, develop, and increase ticket revenue streams for the conference.
This role will work closely with the Senior Director – Ticketing & Partnerships to develop ticket operation efficiencies aimed at streamlining Big 12 Championship events.
Your attention to detail and passion for ticketing will create new inventory and set the Big 12 up for sustained revenue growth.
Key responsibilities
Assist in developing a comprehensive ticketing strategy aimed at driving ticket sales for all Conference Championships, Bowl Games and ancillary events.
Manage ticket operations with venue partners for all Conference Championships, Bowl Games and ancillary events.
Assist in developing best practices amongst member institutions for selling and managing tickets across the Conference.
Partner with marketing department to develop best-in-class concepts that promote and drive ticket sales.
Identify opportunities to utilize ticketing and experiences as a value enhancer for sponsorship deals.
Work with the Senior Director – Ticketing and Partnerships on scaling, pricing, allocating and budgeting for all events.
Work on a secondary market strategy and synergize the conference efforts.
Fulfilment of tickets for internal and external needs including all contractual ticket assets.
Assist with creation of ticket sales and marketing proposals, materials, and collateral.
Help identify new ticket revenue streams for the conference.
Work long flexible days and hours including gamedays, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
Reports directly to the Senior Director – Ticketing and Partnerships.
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university.
2-3 years of selling or managing tickets at a collegiate or professional level.
Experience working with third party ticket providers.
Proven track record of delivering against personal and company goals.
High energy level coupled with a strong drive for efficiency and attention to detail.
Experience working in a fast-paced and hands-on environment while juggling multiple projects at once and maintaining organization of projects, including a willingness and ability to travel and work some weekends.
Manage time effectively, problem solve and orchestrate multiple tasks simultaneously.
Effective communication, organizational, presentation, and listening skills.
