Essential Functions:
1. Oversee all marketing, promotional, and in-venue elements for assigned sports.
2. Lead and manage all on-campus student engagement initiatives.
3. Participate in the development and implementation of all marketing efforts as it relates to men's and women's basketball.
4. Assist with the recruitment and management of graduate assistants, interns, and student volunteers.
5. Collaborate with the Director of Athletic Marketing & Promotions and other members of the External Engagement team on ideas that support an effective social media strategy for all 17 Division I programs.
6. Maintain compliance with all NCAA, Conference, University, and Department of Athletics policies.

Required Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Knowledge of creative concepts in intercollegiate sports marketing.
Skilled in designing and producing promotional materials with a strong attention to detail.
Ability to plan, organize, and execute special events.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build relationships and work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
Ability to manage student personnel; specifically graduate assistants, interns, and student volunteers.
Ability to work independently and approach projects with a creative, innovative mind.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, as well as design software programs (i.e., Adobe Photoshop, etc.)
Ability to travel and work extended hours including games and events on evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment and the ability to respond to high-pressure situations. Ability to thrive in an environment of hard work.
Ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
Required Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree required.
1-2 year's experience in the areas of marketing and promotions in collegiate athletics or professional sports, highly preferred.
