Senior Producer, Baylor (Baylor+ | Sport & Story)

The ideal candidate is a proactive person with experience in handling multiple work streams, managing a staff, developing creative and strategic content plans, and executing those plans on time and on budget with an eye towards premium quality.  You will serve as the lead producer and manager of our storytelling team at Baylor+.

What We Do:

Sport & Story creates original content subscription membership networks for college athletic departments all over the country. We partner with the schools who give great access to tell their stories. We work hand in hand with the coaches, players, administration and creative teams at each school. Using great technology we create interactive platforms that are easy for fans to access and navigate and we create a robust marketing plan so the fans you’re serving actually engage with and enjoy your work.

The Senior Producer will:

• Serve as a Senior Producer and Manager for our content team at Baylor+, the official content network for Baylor Athletics

• Lead the content staff

• Create the content calendar

• Interface with the school content team

• Work hand-in-hand with the subscription marketing team

• Perform other duties as assigned

The Senior Producer will provide creative and organizational direction in a tight deadline and fun sports environment on all aspects of the audio and video content production including but not limited to scheduling, budgeting, field production, post-production, and delivery.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience in upbeat production environments working with creative teams, producing original audio and video products.

• Working experience with production tasks including pre-production planning, scheduling, budgeting, field production, and post-production workflow.

• Excellent editorial judgment and extensive knowledge of sports and events.

• Proven capability to and problem solve, meet deadlines, and work under stress.

• Proven understanding and experience with all aspects of video and audio production.

• Experience with various video production formats for mobile and social media platforms.

• Understanding and usage of social media and content platforms.

• Must be proactive.
