Albright College is seeking applications for Head Track Coach. The Head Men’s and Women’s Indoor and Outdoor Track Coach is responsible for managing all aspects of the Track Program. This includes the recruitment and management of a coaching staff, recruitment and retention of academically and athletically qualified student-athletes, and successful preparation, planning, and strategy for the development and sustaining of an intercollegiate track program. Additionally, the head coach needs to be involved in fund raising and other duties as assigned.
Essential Job Functions:
1. Lead the track program with on field coaching.
2. Supervise and professionally develop assistant coaches.
3. Recruit prospective student athletes on and off campus. Evaluate player talent for recruits.
4. Organize recruiting communications and campus visits.
5. Set up and monitor student athlete academics.
6. Lead retention efforts for track athletes.
7. Meet preparation and strategy.
8. Attend all MAC track coach meetings.
9. Organize program fundraising.
10.Oversee scheduling of practice sites and transportation to sites.
11. Promote a diverse and inclusive atmosphere within the program.
12 Active involvement in fundraising related to track.
13. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Prerequisites:
COMMUNICATION
Strong communication skills with a demonstrated ability in leading and mentoring.
SKILLS

EMPLOYMENT EXPERIENCE
Minimum of five years of progressive college coaching experience
Head coaching experience preferred.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred
LICENSES
Valid driver’s license
