Job Summary / Basic Function
Pennsylvania Western University – California is hiring a full time, (tenure track) clinical faculty in Athletic Training to provide outstanding athletic training services to California Vulcan student-athletes in conjunction with our Team Physician. This position is a clinical faculty position under the Department of Student Services and California Athletics reporting to the Head Athletic Trainer and the Director of Athletics. Master’s degree is required. BOC Certification is Required. PA License (or eligible) is required. The appointment will be for an academic year, with the possibility of renewal.

Regular and reliable attendance
Monday – Friday: Schedule will be set according to confirmed practice schedule, to include rehabilitation / treatment time.
Weekend: Hours will be determined by game or practice schedule.

Proposed Salary Range: Pursuant to Collective Bargaining Agreement, at Step 1 Instructor.

Required Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
Knowledge of NCAA and PSAC regulations specifically as they apply to institutional policies and procedures.

  • Primary assignments will be determined by need and current AT Faculty assignments. One fall, winter and spring sport will be assigned.
  • Injury tracking through AMS
  • Provide ample treatment and rehabilitation times to student athletes in conjunction with your current semester schedule.
